Country Eggs Benedict:

Ingredients:

  • English muffins
  • Eggs
  • Sharp Cheddar Slices
  • Sausage patties
  • Onions
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Black pepper
  • Salt
  • Red pepper flakes

Prep:

  • Toast English muffins
  • Butter them if you would like
  • Poach the eggs
  • Fry the sausage patties

Make the gravy:

  • Add onions to the sausage grease and cook through.
  • Add flour to onions and grease. Cook for a min.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk.
  • Add Salt and Pepper.
  • Cook on medium high until gravy is as thick as you want it.

Build the dish:

  • English muffin first.
  • Slice of Cheese.
  • Sausage Pattie.
  • Poached egg.
  • Cover with Gravy.
